Have you ever heard the quote ‘Dressing well is a form of good manners’ by Tom Ford? Well he’s right. I’m not saying wear a fitted black dress or a black tie everyday, but when the occasion calls for it then step up. I love wearing just jeans, dress shirt and a hoodie but I definitely love to dress up just as much if not more. You wouldn’t show up to your prom, a wedding or any other special event in your jogging pants or yoga pants right? If you showed up in any of that it would give the impression you don’t really care about the event, which is borderline rude. It’s a special occasion so it calls for a special outfit. Find that fitted dress, that silk tie, those stylish shoes. Look your best for other guests and let their heads turn when you make an entrance. Don’t do it just for them but more importantly, do it for you. Dress to impress.

The Black Tie (via theblacktie)

Just because someone desires you, it does not mean that they value you.

Read it over.

Again.

Let those words resonate in your mind.

whenever i wanna cry i think about Van Gogh he was such a nice and lonely dude all he wanted was for people to love him he ate yellow paint because he thought it would get the happiness inside him oh god oh god that’s so sad i can’t breathe

It kills me that I see you every day and I know things can never be the same. I hate not talking to you, but I know it’s the only way to get over you. You hurt me more than I deserve, and I need to learn how to be more independent. But I just.. I miss you. Not because I can’t have you, because I could. Not because you’re far away, because you’re not. Not because you hate me, because you don’t. I miss the way things used to be; the way you used to be. I miss us. Our stupid jokes, our cute moments…They were what I lived for, and now that they’re gone and probably will never come back…I’m just lost.
